Guest Lectures

As part of their inquiry into economic activities and their impact on humankind, students of Grade 4 had two important guest lectures in their class. The first was with Mr N. Ramakrishnan who brought to the fore,  the importance of being responsible producers and consumers, by taking students through his own experiences of following and promoting organic and terrace farming.The second guest lecture was by Ms Mridula Swamy, IB DP Economics and TOK Teacher. She explained the concept of ‘Fair Trade’ and its importance,throwing light on how to practice fair trade and the ways to promote it. Students were keen to learn about fair trade principles and how it affects us.
