The day started off with a festive spirit all around, when we saw all the young minds’ rooms tinged with colors of celebration & their faces lit with excitement. Festivity is all about togetherness and strengthening bonds. In this ’new normal’, AAIS Grade 1 learners & Pathways Upper Kindergarten learners collaborated to celebrate ‘the festival of lights’ by sharing the differences in their practices and the ways in which they celebrate it. Right from the way they call it Diwali/Deepavali to how they call a ‘Kolam’ as ‘Rangoli’, the young learners discussed the nuances of the celebrations, enthusiastically.The session helped the learners to embrace the diversity in our culture and paved a way to learn new ideas with open-mindedness.
Pathways students lit up the event with their dance performance, while AAIS learners introduced their festive foods to their new friends.
