At Akshar Arbol International School visual and performing arts are integrated and woven seamlessly into the curriculum for Grades ELC to 8. Our experienced faculty provide engaging sessions to students that serve to kindle further learning in creative art forms they are interested in. Field trips to art galleries, museums, temples and other art spaces are included to provide exposure to students on both ancient and modern forms of art.
Akshar Arbol International School’s partnership with entities such as the World Crafts Council facilitates our students’ exposure to several traditional art forms and crafts work in addition to their regular art classes. An exclusive art studio at our new campus allows our students to work on creative projects giving them an opportunity to hone their skills in the chosen art form.
Several studies indicate that art education sharpens critical and creative skills. Working with art strengthens a student’s self-image and contributes to building confidence.
“You see things; you say ‘Why’?
But I dream things that never were; and I say ‘Why not?'”
– George Bernard Shaw
