The day started off with the finals of track events. With the momentum rightly set\, the children marched smartly to welcome the chief guest\, Mr. Rajendran Mani\, a world renowned physique sports champion. The march past was followed by the torch lighting ceremony\, the torch bearers being\, students who have won various tournaments in the state and district levels. The children\, right from ELC 1 through grade 11\, went on to display very creative and meaningful formations\, clearly establishing their sense of rhythm\, co-ordination and uniformity. The jubilant mood soared even higher\, when hoards of parents came forward to run a race\, and that they did\, in style. The stands got even noisier when the energetic teachers of AAIS scorched the tracks in a 4*100 relay event. The chief guest\, Mr. Rajendran Mani reminisced his school days in his address and heartily congratulated the spirit of the students and staff members. The much awaited prize distribution turned out to be very special\, with Mr. Rajendran Mani patiently and enthusiastically honoring each winner on the victory stand. With all events rolling flawlessly on schedule\, with special moments to cherish\, we just couldn’t have asked for more.
