At Akshar Arbol International School we believe in the use of technology where appropriate, to enhance and ultimately transform student learning. All our campuses are Wi-Fi enabled and they readily lend themselves to the use of technology in all learning spaces.
Technology is an integral part of the teaching-learning process at Akshar Arbol International School. Applications appropriate to student learning needs are incorporated in instructional practices. Teachers ensure all students have access to the applications, learn to use them and apply them to a range of learning contexts. Research skills, graphic representations of conceptual understanding that build critical and creative thinking skills and a variety of ways to communicate are enhanced through the use of technology. Alongside, students learn the importance of privacy and online safety.
In addition to student learning the school uses virtual platforms to maintain communication with students, parents and other stakeholders.
Technological advancements are solutions to challenges faced. Some may view technology as a threat that has diminished humanity while other do not. Despite contrary views, technology is visible in all aspects of our lives.
“Technology will not replace great teachers but technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformational.”
– George Couros
